UC Berkeley by Vehicle
- From
San Francisco, the San Francisco Aiport, and points south on Hwy
101N Follow US 101N and then switch to I-80 East, and take it
across the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge
Stay
left as you get off the Bay Bridge and then take I-80 east heading
to Berkeley and Sacramento
Exit
I-80E onto University Avenue
- From
Oakland, the Oakland International Airport, and points south on
Hwy I-880N Stay in left center lanes on I-880 when you reach downtown

Exit I-80 East to Berkeley

Accessing
UC Berkeley by Public Transportation
- San
Francisco Airport (SFO) Board a Richmond-bound Bay Area Rapid
Transit (BART) train. SFO is on the Dublin/Pleasanton line, so
transfer onto the Richmond Line. Get off at the Downtown Berkeley
Station
On
Weekends, going to Berkeley from SFO may require transferring
from the Dublin/Pleasanton line to the Pittsburg/Bay point line
at Balboa Park and then transferring to the Richmond line at the
Oakland City Center/12th St station.

International Airport (OAK) At the airport, take the AirBart Shuttle
to the Oakland Coliseum BART station
Board
a Richmond-bound BART train and get off at Downtown Berkeley
On
weekends, going to Berkeley from OAK may require transferring
